Our History
In 2010, fueled by a wealth of experience and a deep-seated passion for fire sprinkler services, Brent Bergen formed Heritage Fire Sprinkler, now known as Heritage Fire Protection. What initially began as a company exclusively offering fire sprinkler services has since evolved into a more extensive provider of fire protection services spanning across the state of Kansas.
Embarking on its second generation under Bergen leadership, the company is guided by CEO Josiah Bergen’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing life safety, exceptional customer service, integrity, and customer education.
Heritage Fire Protection takes immense pride in its ongoing dedication to the south-central Kansas region. Heritage Fire Protection’s services include the inspection, testing, and servicing of fire sprinkler, extinguisher, & emergency light systems in over 400 partnering facilities. These include a diverse range of establishments such as industrial manufacturing, educational institutions, retirement homes, and more.

Our Employees
We value education at Heritage Fire Protection, requiring all of our fire sprinkler technicians to be NICET Certified in Inspection Testing & Maintenance of Water Base Fire Sprinkler Systems. Our Fire Extinguisher Technicians are required to be ICC/NAFED certified in Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance.
We also provide continual technician training on the ever-changing NFPA codes and standards, ensuring that our customer facilities are being inspected to the most recent codes.
